PK328 is non-standard ferritic stainless steel with addition of Ti.

Component parts for food processing industry, dairies and breweries.

Soft Annealing
Heat to 750-850oC, cool in water or air.
Mechanical properties at at ambient temperature
Condition: Annealed
Hardness: max. 185 HB
0.2% proof stress: 270 N/mm2
Tensile strength: 450-600 N/mm2
Elongation: min. 20% (Longit.)
Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1100-800oC.
Machinability
Rated at 60 % of B1112. Relatively easily machined in all common procedures.
Welding
All common welding methods used for stainless will be successful with PK328. Filler metal should be AWS E/ER308 or 312.
Corrosion reistance: Resistant to fresh water and mild atmospheric corrodants. Successful in exterior automotive trim applications except in coastal areas where salt water and air will cause corrosion.
